I now understand that I will mostly wake up in cold 1°C weather most of the time for a while. It is painful, doable, but extremely painful. I would much prefer a noisy overfilled Parisian metro, but after a good 30 min, of snacking in the sleeping bag. I get the morning routine started, 1 hour later, I have everything on the bike. I then quickly change my top to the biking outfit and start riding to warm up.
Today 70km, but 30km of gravel, forest, and grass.. I take my time to enjoy the time on the bike, and ride on some beautiful roads, and some annoying, but it is mostly a blessing. I chill in the forest, call Silvia, and then on the road again to the camping. I am alone in a huge camping, looking very nice, natural style close a lake. It also means that another cold night awaits, I do get a warmshower, but no warm room to chill in. Tomorrow I am sleeping in a hotel for sure, but I will have to bike 86km.
The night went better than expected, and then the sun was well up (sunrise at 4h38). I have learned to position the tent to face big siding east with no trees to get maximum warmed in the tent in the morning. Even with the cold out, it can get warm in the tent pretty quickly.
