Slept poorly because of the cold, finally wake up at 7h00, but struggle to get out, the ground is frozen outside. I get some courage and restart the fire I made last night and start eating breakfast, I then clean, put my stuff together and manage to leave at 9h30.
The rest of the day was fun, I saw around 8 deers in the morning and plenty of other small animals. And spend a lot of time in the forest. What an adventure. The biking goes ok, and even if there are many hills, they dont bother me too much. It is only at the end of the day that I get one long hill, and I start to get bored. But once I saw that I had only 45 min left to bike I get some energy and finish the day with a good rythme.
Next to my tent, I parked a lovely couple from Liverpool, a bit older than my parents, Pam and Paul. They offered me food and a great conversation. Thank you for the kindness. Their son is married to a polish woman, and they are coming to vacation here to visit. I then proceed to make a fire to get warm. The night will be cold again, and I know it will be tough.
