Sauna, shopping, changing currency, work…
The baths here are amazing, I have enjoyed going there, spending some time between hot Turkish baths, cold ones, saunas and hamam.
I went to the most famous bath here called (needs to be added), definitely worth it even if the entrance cost 30 Eur. They are beautiful, great quality, but filled with tourists. I spend some time in the sauna, hoping in the cold 10°C bath in between sessions.
I also had to go to the dentist because I got a gum inflammation around my wisdom tooth, nothing I can do other than go to the dentist. I find one that looks quite sketchy but I still decide to go, they give anesthetic and they are going to clean up the whole area. The local anesthetic gives such a weird feeling, once it hits, I can’t feel anything on the left side of my mouth, there is no pain anymore!
At the hostel, I met Jean luc, the age of my father, French, who studied environmental law in lyon, the first program in France at the time. We slept in the same room at the hostel and spent some time talking about the economy and the environment. Je is going on a bike tour for 2 weeks in May with his 24 year old son. I wish them good luck and sage travels. He also explained to me that Budapest is famous for their dentists, especially implants that are cheaper and better quality than in France.
The zen hostel in Budapest is a great spot, full of interesting people coming from everywhere. The owner Julien was also french and has settled in Budapest after traveling for 6 years around the world. He now owns this hostel, and I thank him for creating this open environment to meet people with good and zen energies.
I then met Gilbert and Alex… what wonderful people and at the right time. Alex from germany, he flew to Tunisia and now came to Budapest following opportunities offered to him, taking ferries, train, and buses. Gilbert is a french bike traveler with an insane bike! Full carbon sexy sexy bike, and came to France to end up in Greece and then come back to France again. It was a pleasure meeting them, such nice, open, curious, and full of expriences. We went to the baths and restaurant, spent time visiting the city, talked a lot about life, travels, business, and enjoyed human company. I hope we will see each other again, and I will be able to bike travel with Gilbert to live crazy adventures.
